Reduce Freight
Damage 101. Shipping solutions for today and into the future.
Most freight claims stem from freight being trans-loaded,
restacked and or cross-docked, meaning, your freight is
loaded onto a truck, then taken to a warehouse, unloaded
and then reloaded onto another truck. This may occur a number
of times before it's actually delivered and is standard
practice for most common carriers. The more it's handled,
the greater the chance of damage.
Printed stretch films and stretch wrap in colors
reduces the risk of this happening to your shipments.

Innovation is
Key to Survival
Dr. Peter Thor, President, Bellissimo Foods
Change is part of any business. Change is often driven by
the need to adapt to market trends or changes in cost or
technology. But there is a difference between change and
innovation. Innovation is what separates you from the competition.
Innovation is proactive and not purely reactive. Innovation
does not have to be "ground-breaking," but staying alert
for ways to innovate can be your key to survival.
The most common forms of innovation are driven by wanting
to create something better, and never be satisfied with
the status quo.

Can Going Green
also be Profitable?
Chances are good that you heard a little something about
going green this year. Marketing your company's eco-friendly
policies was all the rage in 2007 and has carried over
into 2008. Being green is not only good for our earth
but it is good for business as well.
With all the attention surrounding this green movement
some companies are concerned that their marketing efforts
emphasizing their green practices are not going to produce
any return on their investment. And environmentalists
are concerned that this is just another media induced
craze that will have little effect on the way we treat
our earth.
Do these groups have reason to be concerned? Not according
to the data, an estimated $500 billion is predicted
to be spent by green consumers in 2008.
