Bellissimo Foods says 2008 is going to be great.
Restaurateur operators, distributors,
and manufacturers are all feeling the pain of 2007, having
absorbed many, cost increases. 2008 is going to be a hard
year, but may also be a positive transitional year to rejuvenate
our industry. Distributors and operators alike must position
themselves for growth with quality differentiated products.
Failing that, the independent operator falls prey to a price/cost
war; unwinnable with the low cost/low quality chains. Promote
something new. Create some excitement! Our industry has
many positive features which will help it weather the coming
economic downturn.
